This article was published 7 years ago. My views have probably evolved muchly since.
Almost a year ago, we shot the drama, My Fathers War, about a troubled young man, Dap, who, through a series of dreams in which he meets his father as a younger soldier in the South African Bush War, is able to mend his real-life relationship with his dad, letting go of life-long feelings of abandonment and anger.
I secured the role of Billy, one of Dap’s best buddies, and a psychology student who chats to Dap about his dreams.
The movie releases in South African theatres on the 5th of August 2016. Check out the trailer below, and find more information about the movie here on IMDb and here on the official website.
