Being Dusty

My Girlfriend Graveyard
7 December 2016
As autumn passes, every year, for seven days, a little section of the Karoo, a desert in most respects, erupts to life with joviality, enthusiasm, expression, as people come together in an experiment of change, and of evolution. Eleven principles guide this event, underlying values that help people bred in a society governed by fear and shame, to adapt and shed some of the baggage that weighs them down. These principles are reduced to bite-sized nuggets, easy to remember and observe. This book takes those nuggets and burrows into them, scrutinising and analysing each principle, uncovering its core and exposing it beyond the boundaries from whence it was born.
